Why a New Believer's Study?
The first task a builder must perform when constructing a building is to dig a foundation. Did you know that the larger and stronger the building, the deeper the foundation has to be? A skyscraper is an example of this engineering concept. Skyscrapers are massive scructures that have to be able to withstand earth tremors and raging storms.
In order for our Christian walk to withstand spiritual storms, we must have a deep foundation. A New Believer's Study lays a solid foundation that God can build upon our entire Christian life. People brand new in their relationship with Jesus are God's precious babies - part of God's maternity ward. These studies will feed them and help them grow into fully mature followers of Christ.
The New Believer's Study covers a wide range of topics, grounding a new believer in the Word of God. At Calvary Assembly of God, these studies are done one-on-one: a mature believer meeting with a new believer once a week to study, pray, and develop relationship.
